R U L E S O F T H E C O N T E S T

“Staleks` 30-th Anniversary Contest
Worldwide”

  • 1. General Provisions

These Rules define the rules of the “Staleks` 30-th Anniversary Contest Worldwide” Contest (hereinafter "Contest"). The Organizer of the Contest – Staleks limited liability company (spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedialnością / sp. z o.o.) with its registered office in Warsaw at Domaniewska 39A Street, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the Regional Court for the capital city of Warsaw in Warsaw, XXII Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number: 0000790677, NIP: 7010930543, REGON: 383617465 (hereinafter: “the Company” or “Oragizer”) – is also the founder of all prizes. The Contest is held in the form of a public promise in accordance with Art. 919–921 of the Civil Code and is conducted in accordance with the law commonly applicable in Poland and the European Union, in particular with the Act on consumer rights, the Act on personal income tax, the Act on the protection of personal data (GDPR) and other relevant regulations. The Rules are available free of charge on the Organizer's websites www.store.staleks.com from the day the Contest begins and in the “BIO” section of It`s Instagram profiles mentioned in these “Rules”. Acceptance of the Rules by the Participant is a condition of participation in the Contest. Participation in the Contest is synonymous with accepting these Rules.

  • 2. Contest Duration
  1. Submission period: The Contest commences on May 20, 2026, at [10:00 AM ] and shall conclude on [May 31, 2026] at [11:00 PM].
  2. Announcement of results: by [June 1, 2026] at [6:00 PM]. 
  3. WARINING: All deadlines and time periods indicated in this Regulation are expressed in accordance with Polish local time, i.e. Central European Time (CET) / Central European Summer Time (CEST), as applicable. They do not refer to the local time of the Participant’s place of residence or seat.
  • 3. Conditions for participation
  1. The Contest is open exclusively to natural persons of legal age, possessing full legal capacity, as well as legal entities and organizational units with legal capacity, having their place of residence or registered office in any country worldwide (“Participants”), with the exception of countries and territories subject to sanctions imposed by the Republic of Poland. Employees of the Organizer and persons closely related to them are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
  2. Cumulative fulfillment of the following formal prerequisites is mandatory for a valid Contest entry: 
    1. Maintaining an active and public (non-private) Instagram profile throughout the Contest duration and the subsequent verification period; 
    2. Holding the status of an active follower of the Organizer’s official regional profile corresponding to the participant's jurisdiction (as listed in § 1 sec. 3); 
    3. Submitting an original comment under the designated promotional post published by the Organizer on May 20, 2026, which answers the contest prompt: "Write in the comments which STALEKS tool you like the most and why".
  3. The Organizer strictly prohibits any practices that distort fair competition. Any manifestation of interference with the organic growth of interactions, including but not limited to the deployment of automated scripts (bots), engagement in like-farming services, creation of synthetic accounts, or any other artificial methodologies designed to manipulate platform algorithms, shall result in the immediate, definitive, and unappealable disqualification of the Participant.
  4. By submitting a Contest entry, the Participant declares that they have read the content of the Rules, accept its provisions and consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with §8 of the Rules and the GDPR policy, which is Annex No. 1.
  5. Participation in the Contest is voluntary and free of charge.
  6. The Participant may resign from participation in the Contest at any time by sending an appropriate message to the Organizer via e-mail to the address: store@staleks.com. 
  7. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify entries and delete comments that are offensive, vulgar, violate community guidelines, infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights, or contain elements of unfair competition (e.g., promoting competitor brands).
  • 4. Prizes
  1. The Organizer stipulates the selection of 3 (three) Winners per each regional official account specified in § 1 (yielding a total of 24 Winners across the 8 defined accounts). 
  2. The exclusive prize designated for each Winner is 1 (one) unit of a professional SMART series nipper – a specialized limited edition manufactured to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Organizer’s enterprise, valued at [€24] gross each. Prizes remain strictly non-exchangeable for monetary equivalents or alternative goods.
  3. Prizes are not exchangeable for a cash equivalent or other items. Prizes are issued free of physical and legal defects (unless a defect is revealed before the prize is awarded).
  • 5. Contest Commission
  1. The one-person Contest Commission appointed to evaluate the entries is Ms. Aliaksandra Paushko (E-commerce Marketing Lead, Staleks sp. z o.o., e-mail: paushko@staleks.org) – Employee of the Company.
  2. The decision of the Contest Commission on the selection of winners is final and cannot be appealed.
  • 6. Announcement of results and prize collection
  1. The Winners of the Contest shall be the Participants whose submitted comments accrue the highest absolute volume of organically generated "likes" upon the conclusion of the Contest period, evaluated separately for each regional profile.
  2. The verification of interaction authenticity remains the exclusive prerogative of the Contest Commission, which shall conduct an audit of the prospective winning entries to ensure strict adherence to the anti-fraud provisions detailed in § 3.
  3. The Winners shall be formally notified of their prevailing status no later than June 2, 2026 via a Direct Message (DM) transmitted through the Instagram platform.
  4. In the event of a tie (two or more comments receiving the exact same highest number of organic likes), the Contest Commission reserves the right to select the Winner based on the creativity, originality, and relevance of the comment to the brand.
  5. The Winner is obliged to reply to the DM and provide the shipping address within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of sending the notification. Failure to respond within this deadline will result in forfeiture of the prize, and the Organizer reserves the right to award the prize to the Participant with the next highest number of likes.



  • 7. Complaints, questions and organizer's liability
  1. All questions and complaints regarding the course of the Contest should be directed to the Organizer: store@staleks.com. Complaints will be considered immediately, no later than 14 days from the date of their receipt.
  2. In matters related to the collection of prizes and any defects in physical prizes, the provisions of the Civil Code regarding warranty and guarantee apply. The winner may file a complaint regarding a prize defect according to general rules (manufacturer's warranty or legal warranty).
  3. The Organizer is not responsible for technical difficulties or the inability to participate in the Contest resulting from reasons beyond the Organizer's control, such as IT system failures, interruptions in Internet access, problems with e-mail, as well as for the consequences of incorrect data entry by the Participant (e.g., incorrect e-mail address or contact details).
  4. The Organizer is not responsible for the actions of third parties, including unfair marketing practices undertaken by other entities.
  5. The Organizer is not responsible for damages incurred by the Participant in connection with participation in the Contest, unless they were caused intentionally. 
  6. The Organizer is not responsible for technical difficulties or the inability to participate in the Contest resulting from reasons beyond the Organizer's control, such as IT system failures, interruptions in Internet access, and explicitly including, but not limited to, Instagram platform outages, algorithmic alterations, temporary or permanent account suspensions imposed by the platform administrator, or any other technical malfunctions residing exclusively within the operational domain of the Instagram service provider.
  • 8. Personal data protection
  1. The administrator of the personal data of the Contest Participants is the Organizer. The personal data of the Participants will be processed solely for the purpose of carrying out the Contest (in particular, selecting winners, contacting winners, issuing prizes) and fulfilling the legal obligations of the Organizer. Data processing takes place in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
  2. The legal basis for data processing is the Participant's consent to participate in the Contest (Art. 6 section 1 letter a of the GDPR) and the legitimate interest of the Organizer
    (Art. 6 section 1 letter f of the GDPR) consisting in protecting the legal interests of the Organizer when conducting the Contest.
  3. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to take part in the Contest and receive a prize. The Participant has the right to access their data and to correct, delete or limit its processing to the extent provided for by the GDPR provisions. After the Contest is completed, the winners' data will be stored for the period necessary for tax settlement and fulfillment of the Organizer's legal obligations, and then deleted.
  4. Participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body (President of the Personal Data Protection Office). Detailed information on the processing of personal data can be found on the Organizer's website in the Privacy Policy.
  5. The Participant allows the use of their first and last name to inform (also in the media) about the results of the Contest.
  6. The recipients of the data will be, in particular, authorized employees of the Organizer and people who will learn about the Contest results in publicly available media, such as the Organizer's website. 
  7. The personal data of the Participants will be processed solely for the purpose of carrying out the Contest (in particular, selecting winners, contacting winners, issuing prizes). Communication with the Winners and the collection of contact details requisite for prize dispatch shall be conducted exclusively via Direct Messages (DM) on the Instagram platform. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Meta Platforms remains an independent data controller concerning the Participant's usage of the Instagram service.
  • 9. Tax provisions
  • In the case of Winners who are not tax residents of the Republic of Poland, the Organizer shall not be responsible for the calculation, withholding or payment of any taxes, duties or other public charges related to the prize in the Winner’s country of residence or tax residency. The obligation to determine and settle such liabilities rests exclusively with the Winner, in accordance with the applicable laws of their country of residence or tax residency.
  • Should mandatory provisions of European Union law or other international agreements binding upon the Republic of Poland provide otherwise, the Organizer will comply with such provisions. In all other cases, the Organizer limits its role as a tax remitter exclusively to situations where Polish tax law imposes such an obligation.
  1. If the prizes awarded in the Contest (SMART series nippers) have a unit value not exceeding PLN 2,000, they remain exempt from taxation in the Republic of Poland under Art. 21 section 1 point 68 of the Personal Income Tax Act. In the case of Winners who are not tax residents of the Republic of Poland, the Organizer shall not be responsible for the calculation, withholding, or payment of any taxes, duties, or other public charges related to the prize in the Winner’s country of residence or tax residency. The obligation to determine and settle such liabilities rests exclusively with the Winner.
  • 10. Final provisions
  1. The decisions of the Contest Commission are final. Any complaints related to the interpretation of the Rules or the course of the Contest will be considered by the Organizer, and if necessary – by the appropriate common court.
  2. In matters not regulated by these Rules, the applicable provisions of the Civil Code, the Act on consumer rights and other generally applicable provisions of Polish law apply. The Contest Participants are entitled to consumer rights provided for by law – in particular, the right to pursue claims under the warranty or guarantee when collecting prizes.
  3. The Rules are available for inspection throughout the entire duration of the Contest on the Organizer's websites. Participation in the Contest means acceptance of the Rules in all their provisions.
  4. These Rules come into force on May 20th, 2026, and are valid until the completion of all the Organizer's obligations related to the Contest.
  5. The GDPR information clause is available as Annex No. 1 to these Rules.
  6. All disputes arising from the performance of obligations related to the Contest will be settled by the court competent for the Organizer's registered office.
  7. Participation in the Contest is voluntary. Taking part in the Contest means accepting the provisions contained in these Rules.
  8. By taking part in the Contest – the Participant agrees that the Contest is organized and conducted in the territory of the Republic of Poland and that exclusively the law of the Republic of Poland shall apply to the Contest. The Participant acknowledges that any claims, disputes or doubts related to the Contest shall be resolved solely on the basis of Polish law, with the exclusion of the local law of the Participant’s place of residence or registered office. At the same time, the Participant assumes full responsibility for ensuring that their participation in the Contest complies with the laws applicable in their place of residence or registered office, and the Organizer shall not be liable for any potential violations of such laws, in particular with regard to restrictions on participation in contests, promotions, or the acceptance of prizes.
  9. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms. By entering the Contest, each Participant fully releases Instagram from any and all liability related to the creation, administration, and execution of this Contest. Information provided by Participants is disclosed solely to the Organizer and not to Instagram.

GDPR CLAUSE 

Information on Personal Data Protection

In connection with participation in the "Staleks` 30-th Anniversary Contest Worldwide" Competition, we kindly inform you that:

  • Personal Data Controller

The controller of your personal data is Staleks Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office in Warsaw at ul. Domaniewska 39A, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under number KRS: 0000790677, NIP: 7010930543, REGON: 383617465 (hereinafter: the “Controller” or the “Organizer”).

  • Data Protection Officer

  • Purpose and legal basis of data processing


Your personal data will be processed for the purpose and to the extent necessary to carry out the Contest, including the selection of winners, awarding of prizes and handling of complaints.


The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, i.e. your voluntary consent to the processing of personal data, expressed by participating in the Contest and accepting its Terms and Conditions.

  • Scope of processed data

In connection with the Contest, the following categories of your personal data will be processed: Instagram username (handle), and – exclusively in the event of winning and collected via Direct Message (DM) – your first name, last name, physical address for prize delivery, and telephone number (if provided for courier contact purposes).

  • Data recipients

Your personal data may be disclosed to:

  • authorized employees and associates of the Controller,
  • entities providing postal and courier services to the Controller (for the purpose of delivering prizes),
  • entities authorized to obtain data under applicable legal provisions (e.g. tax authorities for the purpose of prize settlement),
  • publicly, including on the Organizer’s websites, social media channels, etc.
  • Period of data processing

Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of the Contest, and thereafter for the period and to the extent required by law, in particular until the expiry of the limitation period for claims, but not longer than 6 years from the conclusion of the Contest.

  • Your rights

You have the following rights in connection with the processing of your personal data:

  • the right of access to your data and to rectify it,
  • the right to erasure of data (unless the data are necessary for the fulfillment of the Controller’s legal obligations),
  • the right to restriction of processing,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to object to the processing of data,
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • Voluntary nature of data provision

The provision of personal data is voluntary; however, failure to provide such data will make it impossible for you to participate in the Contest.

  • Complaint to the supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

  • Withdrawal of consent

Consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn at any time by sending an e-mail to: store@staleks.com.
Participation in the Contest shall be deemed equivalent to the acceptance of the above Clause.
