1.1. We are fully responsible for the production of our tools and guarantee their high quality. All products are manufactured using the latest technologies, as well as precise production methods and technological control guarantee maximum quality and durability of our products.
1.2. We guarantee that our products are free of defects in workmanship and materials, provided that they are used normally in accordance with the conditions set out below. This Warranty is provided exclusively for private (non-commercial) use of the product.
1.3. The Staleks Warranty applies only to original products purchased from Staleks or from a seller (dealer) authorized by Staleks
1.4. Staleks reserves the right to reject the warranty claims from buyers if, at its sole discretion, it determines that the instrument is fake/not original/falsified, or in cases of fraud or abuse of the warranty policy. Staleks reserves the right to reject the warranty claims if the products provided have been repaired by anyone other than the Staleks Service Center, or the products provided have been purchased from an unauthorized seller.
2.1. This Warranty covers the period from the date of purchase of the product: 2 years.
The warranty period for a specific product can be found on the product page on our website, on the product packaging and/ or from the company’s employees.
2.2. The Warranty Period can be counted from the date of receipt of the goods by the buyer from the carrier (the required goods and transport document) or from the date of purchase in the store (the required receipt).
2.3. If the Warranty Period expires, claims for defects are not considered.
3.1. When performing the warranty repairs, the Warranty Period shall be extended for the duration of the product’s stay in repair. The specified time shall be calculated from the day when the consumer has applied for elimination of defects.
3.2. When exchanging goods, their Warranty Period shall be calculated anew from the date of exchange.
3.3. The warranty obligation may be terminated on the general grounds provided for by the legislation of the country of sale.
4.1. This Warranty is intended for non-commercial use and does not cover conditions that are not related to the material or manufacture of the product. Such unrelated conditions include, but are not limited to:
(1) damage due to misuse or products have been modified without the manufacturer’s consent, and to products of brands other than Staleks;
(2) damage due to failure to provide normal maintenance; damage and deformations resulting from failure to meet the storage and maintenance conditions of the tool;
(3) failure to follow the instructions for use of the product specified by the manufacturer;
(4) any accident or improper use of any part of the product;
(5) any defects or damages caused by maintenance or modification by anyone other than Staleks or an authorized Service Center of Staleks;
(6) the item enabling product identification has been deleted, erased or modified, or the data in the document marked with the date of sale has been erased and/or changed;
(7) if the operation of the product has not been stopped and continued after the malfunction has occurred;
(8) the product has been exposed to rain, snow, excessive moisture, aggressive environment, or force majeure (fire, flood, lightning, etc.), or has been exposed to animal contact;
(9) if, at the time of receipt of the goods, the buyer has not checked such goods and has not immediately reported any damage to the packaging and/or goods.
4.2. The warranty obligations for the product shall not be fulfilled in the following cases:
- natural wear and tear, that is, a decrease in performance as a result of both natural physical aging and the influence of external adverse factors of using the tool for its intended purpose;
- damage to the cutting edges of the tool that have occurred due to use with materials that do not correspond to this type of tool;
- improper operation: mechanical impacts on the tool (equipment): bumps, scratches, traces of buildup of foreign elements, damage and scratches caused by the use of sharp tools, including those caused by the use of sharp sponges;
- improper storage of tools (in conditions of high humidity, in an aggressive environment, etc.);
- any mechanical or other damage on tools caused by intentional or careless actions of the buyer or third parties (scratches, dents, deformations, including the consequences of a fall or a strong impact) and/or traces of other actions not provided for by the design of the product;
- any traces of improper operation on the tool caused by exceeding the permissible loads or careless handling (rust, sand, dirt);
- any traces of interference with the design of the tool: broken fasteners, opened seals, non-factory welding, traces of gluing, traces of repair, incompleteness;
- lack of timely maintenance (cleaning, disinfection, etc.) of the tool.
4.3. The Staleks Warranty does not apply to products that have not been used for their intended purpose or have been modified.
4.4. The Staleks Warranty does not apply to products that have been repaired by anyone other than the Staleks Service Center.
4.5. Appearance and configuration of the product: the actual colors of the products may differ from those shown on the site due to the peculiarities of color reproduction by your monitor (such discrepancies are not considered defects in the quality of the product).
4.6. The manufacturer may change the characteristics and configuration of the product without warning. Minor differences in design or design compared to the description on the site are not a sign of poor product quality.
4.7. There are no warranties that go beyond those specified here. Any indirect warranties that may apply to products, including indirect warranties of marketability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited by the duration of this Warranty. Some jurisdictions do not enable to limit the duration of an indirect warranty, so the above restriction may not apply to you. Staleks is not responsible under any circumstances for any special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from breach of this Warranty, breach of contract or strict liability. This Warranty grants you certain legal rights, and you may also have other rights that depend on the country of sale.
5.1. Staleks may require you to provide proof of purchase to demonstrate a valid warranty claim.
5.2. To file a warranty claim, please contact Staleks, an authorized Staleks seller, or the nearest Staleks Service Center. Our contacts are indicated on the tool packaging and in the catalog on the product page.
Please do not ship the item until you contact us and receive clear instructions from us. We may need a statement from you to start a warranty claim.
** Delivery instructions
Put protective elements from the manufacturer on the tool. Pack the tool in its original packaging. It is recommended to keep the box and protective elements from the manufacturer if it is necessary to transport the tool. Instead of the original packaging, the tool shall be securely packed. If the tool is not properly packed, there is a risk of damage during transportation. If you do not have the original packaging, we recommend that you pack the tool at the shipping point of your chosen carrier.
Staleks is not responsible for damage to a tool that has not been properly packaged.
All costs associated with the delivery of goods for warranty service shall be paid by the buyer. The cost of returning a product that has been repaired or replaced from Staleks or the Staleks Service Center is covered by Staleks.
5.3. In case of detection of defects within the established Warranty Period, the buyer has the right to demand:
1) proportional price reduction;
2) free elimination of defects in the product within a reasonable time;
3) reimbursement of expenses for the elimination of defects in the product.
In case of detection of significant defects during the established Warranty Period that have arisen due to the fault of the manufacturer of the goods, or falsification of the goods, confirmed by the expert opinion, the buyer has the right, at its own choice, to demand:
1) termination of the contract and refund of the amount of funds paid for the goods;
2) demand replacement of the product with the same product or with a similar product available to the seller (manufacturer). We will not replace: nail files, nail brushes, disposable razors, cosmetic sharpeners, cases, accessory bags, tool packaging or previously replaced items, as well as a product that has been discontinued.
Significant disadvantage means a disadvantage that makes it impossible or unacceptable to use the product in accordance with its intended purpose, has arisen due to the fault of the manufacturer, after its elimination manifests itself again for reasons beyond the control of the consumer and at the same time is endowed with at least one of the following features:
For non-food products that have been in use and sold through retail commission trading enterprises, the consumer’s requirements specified in part one of this Article are met with the consent of the seller.
5.4. If the Warranty event can be eliminated by repair, repairs will be carried out to restore the planned functionality of the product. Despite the fact that the repair will be carried out professionally, Staleks cannot guarantee the preservation of the original appearance of the product.
If the product repair is not covered by the Staleks Warranty, Staleks or the Staleks Service Center will contact you and provide with an approximate amount of repair and return shipping costs.
6.1 We offer Staleks tool sharpening services in our network of service centers. Tools to be sharpened include eyebrow tweezers, eyelash extension tweezers, skin scissors and nail scissors, cuticle clippers, nail clippers - as long as the tool can be sharpened, with no shipping and handling costs, and no processing fees.
